Upper School Fall Athletic Information 2020-2021 — Please note some information has been updated to reflect new COVID-19 protocols
- Upper School Preseason tryouts/practices will begin for all sports on August 17 and continue through August 28:

- Once school begins, Boys’ Cross Country, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer and Field Hockey teams will practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 4-5:30 p.m. on main campus. 9/10th graders will practice on campus on Mondays and Fridays and 11/12th graders on Tuesday and Thursday. There will be a virtual practice day on

- Girls’ Tennis will practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at Stevenson University Greenspring Campus’ Tennis Courts from 4-5:45 p.m. — 9/10th graders will practice in person on Mondays and Fridays and 11/12th graders on Tuesday and Thursday. There will be a virtual practice day on Wednesdays.
- If there is inclement weather forecasted, a decision regarding fall practices for the day will be made by 2 p.m. and communicated via email.

- A practice jersey will be issued to students (sport dependent) for the season and it is the responsibility of the student to manage it for the season and return it in a timely fashion after the conclusion of the season.
Expectations
- Full adherence to all of the department’s COVID-19 policies and protocol
- Regular attendance at practice (as transportation arrangements allow)
- Fully prepared for practice with necessary equipment including a PPE mask and water bottle
- All absences must be communicated with Coach and/or Athletic Director
- Best effort should be given at all times
- Show respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and the game at all times
- Leave bench areas cleaner than you found them
- Represent Park School in a positive light at all times
CROSS COUNTRY
GIRLS — GRADES 9-12
Practice will begin on August 17 at 4:15 p.m. on the main campus and will run 5 days a week (M-F) through August 28. Please click here for the full preseason schedule. Beginning August 31, practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 4–5:30 p.m. on the main campus. There will be a virtual practice day on Wednesdays. 9/10th graders will practice on campus on Mondays and Fridays and 11/12th graders on Tuesday and Thursday. There will also be virtual practices on the days the other cohort is on campus. The season will run through Tuesday, October 29. (Note: as of 7/17/2020, the IAAM has postponed all league meets until September 21, 2020. When this status changes, we will provide an update as it relates to each of our teams.)

There will also be virtual practices on the days the other cohort is on campus. The season will run through the first week in November with the championship game scheduled to be played on Sunday. There will also be virtual practices on the days the other cohort is on campus. The season will run through the first week in November with the championship game scheduled to be played on Sunday.
