Brownie Senior Ads

We are no longer accepting ad submissions. Thank you!

General information about placing Brownie senior ads:

We have a limited number of pages that can be dedicated to senior advertising. We sell space on a first come, first served basis. You can reserve space before you send in your completed ad by sending me your payment and a note (telling me what size ad or ads you want).

The deadline to purchase and submit an ad is Friday, January 19, 2024.

All payments must be submitted online through the form below.

Sizes and Rates

Please note: the “twelfth page” size is large enough to accommodate several short lines of text in an attractively sized font, but it is for text only. In all other sizes, you can place pictures and text. To purchase your ad, scroll to the bottom of the page. Our pages include margins and page numbers, so a “half page” isn’t actually half of a page.

  • Full page w/ full bleed: 8.5 inches wide x 11” tall (vertical) — $350
  • Full page:  7.5” wide x 10” tall (vertical) — $325
  • Half page:  7.5” wide x 5” tall (horizontal) — $175
  • Quarter page:  35/8” wide x 5” tall (vertical) — $90
  • Eighth page:  35/8” wide x 2.5” tall (horizontal) — $50
  • Twelfth page, text only:  35/8” wide x 1.5” tall (horizontal) — $30

If you create your own ad:

If you make your own ad with a program like Word, InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop, be sure to save your work as a high quality PDF. Please use the highest quality/resolution (300 ppi) version of your photos, otherwise they will be blurry/pixelated when printed — do not use screenshots. This year we are suggesting CANVA as an easy way to design your own page. CANVA is free and simple, and we HIGHLY recommend using it! You sign in, ‘create your own design’ at a custom size (the dimensions of the Ad you purchased), make your page, and then download as the PDF Print file size. Click here to see a video of how to use CANVA.

For Full Bleed Pages — text should be at least .5 inches from the edges of the page.

Send your PDF to brownieads@parkschool.net and include both your name and your child’s name in the file title.

Again, please be sure to pay attention to the size and orientation (horizontal or vertical) of the ad space you are buying; we can scale your PDF down in size, but we cannot change its proportions.

There are no limits on the number of photos you may use (as there are below) if you’re making your own ad.

If you need Brownie to create your ad:

We are happy to offer limited assistance in laying out your ad, as long as your plans are simple and you’re willing to meet our restrictions on the numbers of photos allowed:

•       For a full page ad we can accept no more than 5 photos

•       For a half page ad, no more than 3 photos

•       For a quarter or eighth page ad, no more than 1 photo

You can send either digital photos or prints. If you’re sending digital photos, please send them to brownieads@parkschool.net and please include your name, your child’s name AND a number (1 of 1, or 3 of 5, etc.) in each photo file title (e.g. YourName_ChildsName1of2.jpg, YourName_ChildsName2of2.jpg).

If you’re sending prints, send them to my attention (at the school’s address, above), and make sure you have written your name, your child’s name AND a number (1 of 1, or 3 of 5, etc.) on the back of each photo in pencil or on a Post-it note. Please also send us a self-addressed stamped envelope in which to return your prints. We’ll return prints within four to six weeks.

The last component is text. Please send the words you would like included in your ad, and any simple instructions, such as, “place this message across the sky in the beach photo,” or “make our family photo the largest picture in the ad,” or “please put our pictures on a light green background.”

We will send one proof of the ad we put together for you for an opportunity to share minor edits and changes.

If you have any questions, please send an email. If your questions are too complicated for email, include your phone number, and I’ll give you a call.

Thank you for your continued support,
