Guided by classic children’s literature, campers will explore Park School’s beautiful 100-acre campus and create art, build sculptures, write poetry, and more based on their discoveries throughout the week. 

Campers will also engage in creative and open-ended indoor play. Breaks for lunch and free swim are included each day along with time to explore Park School’s beautiful 100-acre campus and experience the Appalachian Challenge Course.

Possible activities include:

  • Hiking in the Park School woods.
  • Creating nature sculptures.
  • Labyrinth making and walking.
  • Stream exploration and building structures.
  • Taking apart old machines and using the material to create something new.
  • Engineering challenges from Destination Imagination.

Nature and Tinkering Camp is run by Park School teachers Katrina Holmberg and Anna Taylor.
