Resources for Newly-Enrolled Families

We are delighted that your family has joined the Park community! Though the pre-planned meetings and welcome events will need to be re-imagined virtually this spring, we remain committed to providing a smooth transition to Park. Please know there are already sensational ideas brewing that will allow for you and your child to be well connected to the school on a regular basis in the weeks and months to come. Feel free to bookmark this handy list of events, activities, opportunities, and reminders organized by school level — Lower, Middle, and Upper — and be in touch with us if you have any questions.

Warm regards,
–The Park Admission Team

Preparing for the Fall

Health Forms

We use our Magnus Health online database to collect and store students' health and medical information. You will receive reminder emails from Park notifying you that you need to take action with your online Student Medical Record. These emails will list any incomplete requirement(s) or any existing requirement(s) that will expire and needs to be updated. Emails are sent on a weekly basis and if you have an incomplete or soon-to-expire existing requirement, you will receive these reminders throughout the summer until the record is complete. Simply login to your SMR using your Veracross username and password and you will find items marked with a “To Do” flag if you need to take action.

middle SCHOOL STUDENT PLACEMENT TESTS

New students entering Park Middle School are asked to take a placement assessment for modern language (if they currently study a language in school). The assessment helps Middle School faculty determine new students’ class placement for the fall. When the campus is open, new students are scheduled to take the assessment throughout the month of April. Because Park's campus is currently closed, we will be administering the assessment virtually this spring. Dates and instructions will be announced shortly.
