Books for Sale by Adam Gidwitz '00

On Thursday, April 13, Adam Gidwitz '00 will visit The Park School as the 2016-2017 Gordon Berman '68 Lower School Resident Author.

The library is selling select books by Adam Gidwitz, which he can sign and personalize. Scroll down to order books.

Adam won the 2016 Newbery Honor for his novel, The Inquisitor’s Tale, Or, the Three Magical Children and their Holy Dog, and is an alumnus of The Park School (Class of 2000). The Inquisitor’s Tale also won the Sydney Taylor Book Award, and was a finalist for a National Jewish Book Award.

Adam’s career as a writer of children’s books began with A Tale Dark and Grimm, which the Wall Street Journal called “fresh, frightening, funny and humane.”  Two sequels, In a Glass Grimmly, and The Grimm Conclusion, comprise a trilogy, that, “if possible, outshines A Tale Dark and Grimm.”  (School Library Journal, Starred Review.) A long-time lover of Star Wars, Adam was chosen by Disney-Lucas film to write the novelization of The Empire Strikes Back, which is flippantly re-titled So You Want to be a Jedi?

All of Adam’s books are available for sale from the Lower School Library through this form, or when Adam visits April 13. For any questions, please contact Judy Hurdle at Jhurdle@parkschool.net.
