Guided by quality children’s literature, campers will explore Park School’s beautiful 100-acre campus and create art, sculpture, and poetry based on their discoveries throughout the week.

Participating in a yoga class each day, campers will practice habits of mindfulness and learn relaxation techniques, and will have daily access to the pool, the hiking trails, and an indoor space in which to create, rest, and eat meals.

Possible activities include:

  • Collecting materials from the woods to create 2D and 3D artwork.
  • Choosing a peaceful outdoor setting to meditate, write, or sketch.
  • Creating an outdoor community for open-ended daily play.
  • Using one of Park School’s maker spaces to sew or build representations of a piece of nature.

Nature and Yoga Camp is run by second grade teacher Katrina Holmberg and Park parent Kelley Blum. Open to children entering Grades 1-3.
