- What is the average class size? How many teachers are in each classroom?
- Kindergarten classes range from 15-18 students with two to three teachers in each room. Class sizes average 15-16 in grades 1-12 with one teacher in each room.
- How do Park students perform on national-level testing?
- 2010 SAT scores, Middle 50%: Critical Reading 600-710, Math 590-700, Writing 620-710
Students consistently score at the very highest level of independent school students in Maryland and in the nation.
Advanced Placement Scores 2010: 113 tests taken, 98% scored 3, 4, or 5.
A score of 3 or above is a qualifier for college placement out of a requirement or into an advanced-level course.
- Which colleges and universities do your graduates attend?
- 46% enroll in colleges and universities ranked Most Selective. 46% enroll in colleges and universities ranked Highly Selective and Very Selective. - Is there a dress code?
- Park School does not have a formal dress code. Students wear clothes that are comfortable and appropriately respectful of a learning environment. Casual clothes (t-shirts, shirts, sweaters, jeans) and a range of footwear (sneakers, sandals, etc.) are all acceptable.
