Park Residencies

Park is fortunate to have a number of residency programs which provide for scholars, artists, and journalists to speak to and meet with students.
The Parents' Association sponsors the annual Resident Scholar program. The Resident Journalist, Artist, and Lower School Author programs are all underwritten with endowed funds established in memory of Park graduates by their families and friends.

Resident Scholar for more than 25 years, scholars in a broad range of fields have visited the school to discuss their work with Upper School students. [read more]

Weinberg Resident Journalist recent visiting journalists have included Pulitzer Prize winners, and a White House Press Secretary. [read more]

Diana Lee Fox '75 Resident Artist Since 1981, this program has brought reknowned local, regional, and national artists to Park to work with students and present a gallery show. [read more]

Peter Baida '68 Writer-in-Residence this program began in 2004 [read more]

Gordon Berman Lower School Resident Author Newberry and Caldecot Award winners, and noteworthy authors and illustrators of children's books visit to give presentations and conduct hands-on workshops with Lower School students. [read more]
