College Counseling

The College Counseling office provides students and their parents with resources for selecting the colleges that best meet the students' interests, needs, and goals.

The Park School Philosophy states: "The conviction that the child contains inner strength, talents, and powers which can be liberated and nurtured allows a variety of educational techniques and methods and is manifested in the school in different ways." Just as Park's Philosophy recognizes that each student learns in his or her own way, the College Counseling office believes that each student has individual needs. We do not simply offer a list of top colleges; instead, we work to develop matches that are meaningful and appropriate for each Park student.

The information on these pages should not serve as a substitute for personal conversations among parents, students, and college counselors. It is an introduction to a process of decision-making and personal growth.
